Mr. Cranky can see again

And, watch out world, he's driving again. The first cataract came off 2 weeks ago, and 3 days later, he was in the driver's seat again. He is now able to get to Sunday morning church services, and to go on the Sunday nights that I'm out singing elsewhere. He had 2 doctor's appointments last Tuesday, and I was able to stay home and get a good days sleep, rather than having to prop my eyelids open all night at work. Now that he can read again, he's working on the first lesson for his Calvary Baptist Sunday School blog.
He was able to go to the Trinity Rescue Mission last night, and gave a testimony there. His shortness of breath is the only physical limitation keeping him out of the pulpit, and we are praying the Lord will give him the opening to preach again.
And I'm still Mrs. Cranky, trying to keep up with the original "Cranky Yankee", my husband for over 20 years now. The "posted by" line on this blog will always show Cranky Yankee, but you'll be able to tell from the content if it was Mr. or Mrs. doing the writing.
There's a photo of Mrs. Cranky on her blog. One of these days we'll get a shot of Mr. Cranky to post here and on his Sunday School blog.
